Perhaps best known for its Grand Slam, Denny’s is the breakfast lover’s utopia.
 Whether you prefer your pancakes and eggs when the sun rises or during a full
 moon, the iconic American restaurant is always ready to help fill your

      One of the most popular menu items, the buttermilk Pancake Puppies, is a
 new menu feature. Almost like a donut hole, these deep-fried Puppies rolled in
 cinnamon and brown sugar are real treats. “We’re always upgrading our menu for
 the changing times. You have to change with the consumers’ tastes,” says
 Denny’s Marilyn Costanza. The restaurant recently grabbed headlines — and customers —
 with its Grand Slam Breakfast give-away advertised during the Super Bowl. At
 the Rapid City restaurant alone an estimated 3,500 were served by 2 p.m.

      Whether it is the new finger food Pancake Puppies, a plate full of
 home-style bacon and eggs, or a mouth-watering burger, Denny’s is the place to go to
 satisfy your need for comfort food. “That’s really what we’re known for. A
 comfort food is what you grew up with that was full of flavor and taste, that
 cravable food,” Costanza says.

      Denny’s offers a varied menu, including popular lunch foods such as the
 award-winning World Famous New England Clam Chowder and sandwiches ranging from
 the BLT to the Chicken Ranch Melt. The after-church family crowd makes Sunday
 afternoon one of Denny’s most popular lunch times.

      But its prime times are breakfast and late nights on the weekends,
 especially before a day of shopping or after a movie or night out. 
Open around the clock, Denny’s does not serve alcohol but offers a specialty
 fruit fusion drink.

      A true family restaurant, Denny’s also has menus designed specifically
 for children and seniors. Children eat free on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 4-10
 p.m. Otherwise, menu plates range from $3.99 - $8.50.
